Search Guide

Which modality should I use?

Visual Default

Searches what appears on screen — actions, objects, scenes, logos, and on-screen text.

Best for: "athlete spraying shoes", "drone shot of coastline", "close-up of product on table"
Transcription

Searches spoken words in the audio track. Use this when you want to find clips where someone says something specific.

Best for: "I love the grip", "explains how to apply the spray", "mentions Edge"
Audio

Searches non-speech sounds — music, ambient noise, and sound effects. Does not search spoken words.

Best for: "crowd cheering", "upbeat music", "basketball bouncing"

OR vs AND

When multiple modalities are selected, OR returns results that match any of them (wider net, more results). AND requires a match on all selected modalities (more precise, fewer results).

For most searches, OR is a good default. Use AND when you need both visual and spoken content to match simultaneously.

Transcript matching

Semantic matches the meaning of your query, even if the exact words differ. "I love the grip" would match someone saying "the grip feels amazing".

Exact words matches only the literal words spoken. Use it for product names, brand names, or specific phrases that semantic search might interpret too loosely.

Verify with AI

Toggle Verify with AI to ON before searching. An AI vision model will watch a clip of each result and confirm whether it truly matches your query. Results show a MATCH or NO MATCH badge, and you can hide rejected results with the "Hide rejected" button.

Use the Results dropdown to control how many top results get verified (10, 30, or 50). Costs ~$0.0008 per result, ~5 seconds each.

You can give feedback on each verdict using the checkmark/cross buttons on each card. This helps us improve the AI over time.

Folder filter

All folders searches the entire archive. Use Only these folders to limit results to specific shoots or campaigns, or Exclude these folders to hide irrelevant content.
